Its purpose is to cover some important aspects (Education, Nature, History, Social organization) of Finland through literature, discussion and lectures. Inhaltliche Beschreibung Teil 1: In this part of the module the literature previously prepared by the students will be discussed. The students will be given various texts on Finnish culture and society, which should finally provide an overall picture. Inhaltliche Beschreibung Teil 2 : In this part of the module, the content of the first part of the module will be further deepened through lectures and discussions. First, each session consists of a lecture on a topic of Finnish society or culture, which will be discussed afterwards. The basis for this discussion is on the one hand the lecture itself and on the other hand the literature read in part 1.
Lernziele With this course students will have a better idea of some basic concepts of anthropology and will have a deeper understanding of Finnish culture and society.
