Teil 1 und 2: Saami Culture (Lecture), WiSe 2022/23, Dates: Tue 01.11.2022 12:15-14:00 Thu 03.11.2022 10:15-12:00, Tue 08.11.2022 12:15-14:00, Thu 10.11.2022 10:15-12:00 Tue 15.11.2022 12:15-14:00, Thu 17.11.2022 10:15-12:00, Tue 22.11.2022 12:15-14:00, Thu 24.11.2022 10:15-12:00, Tue 29.11.2022 12:15-14:00, Thu 01.12.2022 10:15-12:00 Thu 08.12.2022 10:15-12:00, Tue 13.12.2022 12:15-14:00 Online platform will be told before the course start via email. The course is an examination of the Saami people, their traditional culture, literature, arts and music as well as the contemporary Saami society. Some attention will be paid to the other minority and Fourth World Nations’ perspectives too. The student will be able to define various aspects of the traditional and contemporary Saami culture and analyse how the Saami themselves form their identity in a changing world. |
